The Mary Pullman in the harbour for her naming ceremony in 1965. This was the first boat to be fuelled by diesel, each engine capable of producing 52 horse power.

This boat was said to be self righting in 4 seconds and could carry 30 people. She was on station for 22 years and in that time rescued 15 people.
