BP Distributor. This coastal tanker was a regular visitor to Kirkcudbright in the late 1950s. Her gross registered tonnage was 797, and she was 193 feet in overall length

Ala. This cargo vessel docked in 2002, with a cargo of timber from Estonia for James Smith and Co. of Tongland. With a gross registered tonnage of 1064 and an overall length of 222 feet, she was one of the larger ships to visit Kirkcudbright, though not the largest. The pilot was James P. Little.
Ashraf. The tug “Ashraf” berthed at the marina in 2005.
Deep Diver 1. The Seacore jack-up platform “Deep Diver 1” at Castledykes Point in 2005, in readiness for laying a sewage pipe off Torrs Point. It was accompanied by the tugs “Sea Trojan” and “Ashraf”

Drilling rig. A small drilling rig being berthed at the harbour in 2008, prior to its crew carrying out site investigation work at the lifeboat station. It was accompanied by the tug “Sylvia”
River Pride. This cargo vessel called at Kirkcudbright in 2013 to load a cargo of scallop shells for delivery to Holland. Her gross registered tonnage was 794.
