Running from the 21-28 May 2022, war graves week will shine a light on the work of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the people who keep Remembrance of our war dead alive. Do you know how many such graves are in our own Kirkyard?

For example, just inside the main gates can be found the graves commemorating the lives of five soldiers whose lives were lost on the sinking of the Leinster in 1918. There are 5 stones erected by the Commission plus one erected by public subscription.
