The Scottish Community Heritage Alliance is a grass roots group of people who work and volunteer around local heritage, and it was their experience of the challenges of the independent heritage sector which led them to start the project.
A series of 12 discussion days are being held around Scotland for communities and individuals who are involved in managing their local heritage.
Aim: to discuss the potential for a new national network for community heritage in Scotland.
Programme: A simple format of an opening speaker to warm everyone up, then discussion workshops throughout the day.
Cost: It is free to attend, and while there is unlimited tea and coffee they ask you to bring your own lunch.
