AOC Archaeology Group is back opening up trenches at #blackloch excavations, continuing with Structure 3 and the famous and exciting midden. The doorway which was lifted is still soaking and the walk into the excavations is as atmospheric as ever. Public Open Day is on 8th June, assembling at the Whithorn Trust to cut down on cars and arrange car shares – en route in, there are slippery and uneven surfaces, so please note and wear appropriate footwear.
